Time for a Tim Hortons boycott?
Here's a fax I sent this morning after learning of a Tim Hortons franchise shamefully supporting a National Organization for Marriage event in Rhode Island:
I'm getting a lot of flack on Twitter for suggesting a boycott at this point. Perhaps its generational. I'm 39 today. I grew up in the 80s, came out of the closet in rural Missouri in the middle of Ronald Reagan and an unwillingness for the word AIDS to even be used by our leader. Boycotts are the only tool we had for many, many years. 'Course it could also be that I'm just feisty.
